The Lewitt MTP 350 CM is a professional handheld condenser microphone designed for live vocal performance, bringing the clarity, detail, and transient accuracy of condenser technology to the stage environment. Where dynamic microphones prioritise robustness and feedback rejection above all else, the MTP 350 CM is built around a lightweight diaphragm condenser capsule operating as a permanently polarised pressure gradient transducer — delivering a richness and high-frequency precision that dynamic mics typically cannot match, while still being engineered to survive the physical demands of touring. Sensitivity is 3.1mV/Pa (–50dBV/Pa) with a self-noise floor of 25dB (A) and a maximum SPL of 141dB at 1% THD, giving it a dynamic range well suited to both soft passages and high-energy live performances.

The cardioid polar pattern focuses pickup firmly on the vocalist while damping sound from directly behind the capsule, enabling high monitor levels without feedback issues even in loud stage environments. Internal impedance is 200 ohms, and the mic requires 48V (±4V) phantom power at 5.3mA — standard from any professional mixing console, interface, or stagebox. A built-in wind and pop filter suppresses plosives and breath noise, while a rubber capsule suspension minimises the handling noise and structure-borne vibration that condenser capsules are ordinarily more susceptible to than their dynamic counterparts. The capsule is also protected against moisture ingress, a practical consideration for demanding live use.

The MTP 350 CM's zinc die-cast enclosure weighs 330g and measures 49mm x 175mm, built to withstand the physical rigours of regular touring. It ships with a microphone clip, windscreen, and transport bag, and is also available in a switch version for applications requiring on/off control.
