sE Electronics V8 Supercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone – Black

sE Electronics V8 Supercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone – Black

The sE Electronics V8 Supercardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, Matte Black is built for vocalists needing clear, controlled sound on demanding live stages. Its DMCV8 capsule captures a balanced vocal sound with detailed highs, controlled mids and extended low-end response, reducing the corrective EQ needed before your voice sits comfortably in the mix. A tight supercardioid pickup pattern rejects sound arriving away from the front, helping reduce stage spill and providing more usable level before feedback.

The patented internal shock mount limits handling noise and vibration, keeping quieter passages clean. An all-metal housing, stainless spring-steel grille and gold-plated XLR connection provide the durability needed for regular performances. Its matte-black finish remains discreet under stage lighting, while the bevelled grille helps prevent rolling on flat surfaces. A semi-rigid case, microphone clip, internal windscreen and polishing cloth are also included.

Capture a balanced vocal sound

The DMCV8 dynamic capsule gives singers a clear, open presentation without making the sound feel thin or overly shaped. Its balanced midrange keeps lyrics easy to follow, while detailed high frequencies bring out articulation and the extended low end preserves the body of your voice. This provides engineers and performers with a useful starting point before any EQ is applied, particularly when setup time is limited. Tight production tolerances and a neodymium magnet also support dependable sensitivity and consistency, helping the microphone provide a familiar response across rehearsals, performances and repeated use.

Keep stage spill under control

A tight supercardioid pattern concentrates pickup around the voice and rejects more sound arriving away from the front. On loud stages, this helps keep nearby instruments and monitoring out of the vocal channel, making the overall mix easier to control. The focused pattern also provides strong gain before feedback, allowing the singer to remain present without quickly pushing the sound system towards instability. This is particularly useful for bands, venues and touring performers working with crowded stages or high sound levels. The result is a cleaner vocal feed that requires less work to separate from the rest of the performance.

Move with fewer distractions

An integrated patented suspension isolates the capsule from movement inside the microphone. It reduces thumps, vibration and handling noise before they reach the sound system, helping the vocal remain clean as the performer moves around the stage. The suspension also protects the capsule against mechanical shocks, adding reassurance during regular live use and transport. Because the system is built into the microphone, there is no separate accessory to fit or adjust. You can simply connect the V8, place it in the supplied clip or hold it, and concentrate on delivering the performance.

Rely on road-ready construction

The V8 pairs an all-metal body with a corrosion-resistant stainless spring-steel grille, providing the strength needed for rehearsals, gigs and transport. Its dent-resistant construction protects the capsule, while the bevelled grille edge helps prevent the microphone rolling across flat surfaces between sets. Gold-plated contacts support a dependable XLR connection, and the matte-black finish keeps the microphone visually understated on stage. A semi-rigid storage case, robust clip with thread adaptor, black internal windscreen and microfibre polishing cloth are supplied, making the microphone straightforward to carry, mount and care for.
