How to choose
Decide whether you will use the Osmose mainly for its own sounds or mostly to control other instruments.
Beginner
A newer synth player should spend time with the Osmose's built-in presets first, learning how pressing harder or moving a key changes the tone before touching deeper synthesis settings. Keep the instrument on a stable stand while learning its touch response.
Intermediate
Once comfortable, try editing the Osmose's own patches and mapping its touch data to control external software synths alongside its internal sounds. Save variations of your favourite patches as you tweak them.
Expert
Advanced users can run the Osmose as the centrepiece of a hybrid setup, using its internal engine for some parts of a track and its controller side to drive other instruments in the same session. Back up your patch library before any firmware update.
