How to choose
Since this page has one product, check whether your current dynamic mic and interface actually need extra gain before adding it.
Beginner
If you have a dynamic microphone that sounds quiet even at high gain, the DM1 Inline Microphone Preamp sits in the cable between the mic and your interface to boost the signal. Connect it following the included instructions and check phantom power requirements before use.
Intermediate
If you are recording dynamic microphones through an interface with limited gain, the DM1 can bring the signal up to a usable level without adding much noise. Test your recording chain with and without the DM1 to hear the difference clearly.
Expert
For an engineer working with several dynamic microphones on quieter sources, the DM1 Inline Microphone Preamp is a practical fix that avoids replacing an entire preamp section. Keep it labelled and stored with your cabling so it does not get lost among other inline accessories.

About SE Electronics in Studio Preamps
sE Electronics built the DM1 to solve a common problem with dynamic microphones, which often need more gain than some preamps can comfortably provide. People buy it to get a cleaner, stronger signal without replacing their interface or mixer.
This page carries the DM1 Inline Microphone Preamp on its own, designed to sit in the cable path between microphone and preamp.
