A 1.0mm shell of chromed steel gives the Cyrus a bold tone and striking looks to suit just about any kit and project in your back pocket — from funk and hip-hop to rock and metal. The shell is slightly undersized to allow the hoops, head, and shell to work in perfect synergy, whether you're going for a ringy bite or a focused punch. Flanged Sonic Saver hoops on rolled metal SONIClear bearing edges maximize the Cyrus's tone, warmth, and tuning range. And with its extra-deep/extra-wide snare beds and cylinder-drive dual-adjustment throw off, the Mapex Black Panther Cyrus steel snare drum can be dialed in for precision sensitivity.
