The KZ AS16 Pro In-Ear Monitors are high-resolution Hi-Fi IEMs designed for listeners, musicians and performers who want exceptional detail and separation. Featuring 8 balanced armature drivers per side, the AS16 Pro uses a dedicated multi-driver configuration to reproduce low, mid and high frequencies with clarity and precision.

Each earpiece houses four 31736 balanced armature drivers for high frequencies, two 29689 drivers for the midrange and two 22955 drivers for low frequencies. The dual 22955 low-frequency configuration provides increased low-end energy while maintaining the detailed character of an all-balanced-armature design.

A sophisticated three-way electronic crossover works alongside a three-channel acoustic conduit structure, directing each frequency band through its dedicated sound path. This helps provide a smooth transition between the low, mid and high-frequency drivers while maintaining a highly detailed presentation.

The AS16 Pro features an ergonomic resin housing with a metal-and-plastic inlay design and is shaped for comfortable over-ear wearing. KZ states that the ergonomic design can provide more than 26 dB of passive noise reduction, making the AS16 Pro well suited to focused listening and monitoring environments.

A high-purity OFC braided cable with silver plating is supplied and connects via a detachable 0.75 mm 2-pin interface, allowing the cable to be replaced or upgraded. The standard connection is a 3.5 mm plug, making the AS16 Pro compatible with a wide range of audio devices, headphone amplifiers and monitoring equipment.
