The Rode MiCon-3 is a compact adapter connector that enables Rode MiCon-equipped microphones to connect directly to select Shure wireless transmitters, using a TA4F (4-pin mini XLR) termination. For audio engineers, theatre sound operators, and broadcast professionals already running Shure wireless systems, the MiCon-3 provides a straightforward path to integrating Rode's HS1 headset, Lavalier, and PinMic microphones into their existing infrastructure — no new transmitters, no workarounds, no compromise on microphone quality.

The MiCon-3 is compatible with the following Shure transmitters: UR1, UR1M, ULX1, SLX1, PGX1, PG1, BLX, and QLX series — covering the full range of Shure's professional and prosumer bodypack transmitter lineup. The locking MiCon connection on the microphone end keeps the adapter securely attached during performance, while the TA4F connector on the transmitter end provides a firm, industry-standard fit. As with all MiCon adapters, the unit is minimal in size and weight, keeping the overall body-worn rig clean and unobtrusive.
