Choose between the guiro and the tambourines based on the sound and rhythm role you need.
Beginner
A beginner can start with the single row tambourine or the Fish Style Guiro, since both are simple to pick up and play by hand. Practice steady rhythms slowly, holding the tambourine loosely so the jingles ring freely, or scraping the guiro's ridges with the included stick at an even pace.
