How to choose
With one pedal listed, the main consideration is how it fits your keyboard setup and playing space.
Beginner
A beginner keyboard player should place the WTB-004 firmly on the floor under the keyboard and practice using it gradually, since sustain pedal timing takes practice to control well. Keep the cable tidy so it doesn't get stepped on awkwardly.
Intermediate
An intermediate player working on pedal technique with the WTB-004 should focus on half-pedaling and clean releases between phrases. Check the connector plug periodically to make sure it stays securely seated in the keyboard.
Expert
An experienced pianist using the WTB-004 on a keyboard rig would position it for a natural foot angle and test its response across different keyboards, since pedal feel varies by instrument. Keep the footswitch mechanism clean and check the cable for wear if it travels to shows regularly.
