How to choose
Consider the Resound VX8.1 when you need one compact system rather than separate speakers and stands.
Beginner
If you are new to running sound, the Resound VX8.1 is designed as a self-contained system, so setup is largely a matter of positioning it and connecting your source, which makes it approachable for a first PA.
Intermediate
If you run sound for meetings or small functions, the VX8.1's column shape spreads sound evenly across a room, and placing it centrally rather than in a corner will give more even coverage to the audience.
Expert
For repeated use across different venues, get familiar with how the VX8.1 performs in rooms of different sizes, and keep the unit covered and stored upright between uses to protect the column and its connections.
