How to choose
As the only model here, the decision is whether a 15 inch self-powered speaker suits your event size.
Beginner
Someone new to running sound should start by placing the RS 15 at a safe height on a stand, connecting it directly to a mixer output, and testing levels at low volume first. Keep the power cable separated from signal cables to reduce noise.
Intermediate
An intermediate user might use the RS 15 as part of a small PA setup, pairing it with a subwoofer if deeper bass is needed, and adjusting its position to cover the audience evenly. Label cables clearly if running more than one speaker to avoid mix-ups during a show.
Expert
Experienced operators can integrate the RS 15 into a larger rig, using it for fill or monitor duties alongside a main system, and fine-tuning its placement based on room acoustics. Check the cabinet for wear after touring, since active speakers carry sensitive internal components that benefit from careful transport.
