The Xvive P2 is an in-line microphone preamp designed to lift weak dynamic and ribbon mic signals into professional territory without breaking the bank. Built around Nutube vacuum tube circuitry–a hybrid solid-state and valve hybrid–the P2 adds natural warmth and colouration to vocal chains, live sound reinforcement, and studio recording setups. With up to +40 dB of gain on tap, it's engineered to sit between a microphone and mixer, interface, or outboard preamp, boosting signal strength while improving signal-to-noise ratio by allowing you to reduce input gain downstream.

Dual gain and volume controls afford hands-on shaping of the signal path–dial in transparent boost or warm, tube-inflected character depending on application. Gain staging improves measurably when a preamp operates at the source rather than relying solely on a mixer's input fader; by sending a hotter signal into your chain, noise floor drops and headroom increases. The P2 accommodates standard XLR I/O, making it a straightforward insertion point in both DJ booth rigs and live sound systems where dynamic microphone clarity and presence matter.
