The Rode NTG4+ Shotgun Microphone is the sibling to the NTG4, providing all the same features with the addition of a built-in rechargeable battery. The NTG4+ delivers broadcast-ready sound quality for your camera or audio recorder. Point and shoot with the directional design allowing you to catch the action with ease.

The specialised condenser capsule captures every subtle detail when recording, delivering pristine sound no matter where you are. Never miss the action thanks to the range of built-in controls. Available via digital switching, you can enable the high-pass filter, high-frequency boost or the pad at the touch of a button. These handy features allow you to adapt to any recording situation. For example, when outdoors using the high-pass filter can remove unwanted background and/or wind noise.

Integrated digital switching

Conventional microphones will offer a two-position switch for extra settings on the microphone. This can result in structure-borne noise, especially whilst you are recording. The NTG4 eliminates any noise thanks to the digital switching built-in to the microphone’s body. Once you have selected your settings, they are retained even when the microphone is switched off.

Long-lasting rechargeable battery

Setting itself apart from its sibling (NTG4), the plus version features an integrated rechargeable battery. The internal lithium battery can provide up over 150 hours of use from a single charge. The battery also charges quickly, with a full charge requiring only two hours. The microphone comes complete with micro-USB cable which is compatible with power breaks, plug outlets and more.
