The AQ2 Maple Stage kit is a value-packed rock kit with a professional fit, finish, and tone. Thunderous warmth and powerful projection issue from the AQ2's 7-ply maple shells. Hardware advantages come in the form of Sonor's SmartMount tom suspension system, which reduces metal-on-shell contact for greater resonance and sustain, and redesigned die-cast lugs, which are tour safe and tuning sound. Matching bass hoops and killer finish options give the Sonor AQ2 Maple Stage great bang for the buck.
7-ply maple shells
The AQ2 Stage's all-maple shell recipe yields rich, focused tone and a nuanced response. Four plies of Canadian maple plus three plies of Chinese maple make for shells that do it all, from classic rock to progressive metal.
