Sabian XSR 16 inch Fast Crash Cymbal

Sabian XSR 16 inch Fast Crash Cymbal

Designed to fit your budget, the Sabian 16” XSR Fast Crash Cymbal uses ideas from the award-winning Evolution and X-Plosion cymbals to deliver an unprecedented sound and performance for a very affordable price. The 16” XSR Fast Crash is designed from B20 bronze with a thin weight which provides a loud, focused and bright crash sound with a long sustain, which drives through your mix. The hand-hammered construction, alongside the enhanced profile, provides for a thinner cymbal overall, increasing the response time and creating a bright, universal tone with a great level of sensitivity.

XSR sound and performance

Saban’s XSR series cymbals are designed with care and precision, crafted from pure Sabian B20 Bronze using many of the processes they used in the creation of their Evolution and X-Plosion cymbals and then given a pin-point lathing and hand-hammered to a professional standard. The trickle-down technology helps to enhance the cymbals profile as well as redesigning and reshaping the bell to accelerate the overall tone of the cymbals. This gives the 16” XSR Fast Crash a thinner design that combines the response of a thin model with the increased power of a medium-weight, and provides a highly versatile and effective crash with a focused style.
