Description
Sabian XSR 18 inch Fast Crash Cymbal
The Sabian XSR 18” Fast Crash Cymbal featuring pin-point lathing, hand hammered construction, and an enhanced profile, provides a thinner cymbal with an incredibly fast response, at a very competitive price. The Sabian 18” XSR Fast Crash offers a bright, universal tone with a good degree of sensitivity due to its thin weight. Crafted from B20 bronze, the Sabian 18” XSR Fast Crash Cymbal uses influences from their award-winning Evolution and X-Plosion series of cymbals to create a durable, reliable and versatile cymbal at a low cost. The 18” diameter provides a long sustain that drives through your mix with a fast, bright, vintage tone.
XSR Sound and Performance
Saban’s XSR series cymbals are designed with care and precision, crafted from pure Sabian B20 Bronze using many of the processes they used in the creation of their Evolution and X-Plosion cymbals and then given a pin-point lathing and hand-hammered to a professional standard. The trickle-down technology helps to enhance the cymbals profile as well as redesigning and reshaping the bell to accelerate the overall tone of the cymbals. This gives the 18” XSR Fast Crash a thinner design that combines the response of a thin model with the increased power of a medium-weight, and provides a highly versatile and effective crash with a focused style.
