Aquarian 16″ Performance II drumhead

The Aquarian Performance II is a two-ply drumhead manufactured with Aquarian’s Vacuum Process to remove air bubbles and wrinkles between the plies. Its two clear 7mil plies are glued and sealed only at the edges, taming unwanted overtones and focusing the tone on the low frequencies.

Designed for looser tuning, this 16″ Performance II delivers the deep, fat, punchy tom sound that defined classic rock records — the kind of tone that’s hard to get from an ordinary head no matter how you tune it. It’s also a great, affordable way to upgrade the sound of a budget kit in one head swap.
