Suitable for a wide variety of audio testing applications, the Xvive AT-3 packs crucial detection features into a conveniently compact utility tool. To start, the Signal Generator can emit either a 1kHz sine wave or pink noise for testing the inputs of your audio gear. The XLR Cable Tester determines whether or not your cables are functioning properly, while XLR Input Metering measures the strength of XLR input signals. Next, the Phantom Power Check tests voltage, which is individually metered on pins two and three of an XLR output jack. Lastly, you can use the Headphone/Speaker Monitoring function to listen to input signals. The AT-3 features a rechargeable internal battery for maximum portability. The AT-3 is an essential tool for audio professionals, it is used to test powered PA speakers, effect pedals, cables, DI boxes, IEM systems, mixers, and a whole host of other gear.

Dual-unit design unlocks maximum testing flexibility

We’ve found the AT-3’s split-design configuration extremely valuable. This ultra-flexible audio utility tool includes two separate units — the AT-3M and the AT-3F — giving you both male and female connectivity. Best of all, you can deploy the units in tandem. For example, you can use the AT-3M unit to transmit signals via the XLR-M or 1/4-inch output, while the AT-3F unit receives the audio signals through the XLR-F or 1/4-inch input — simultaneously — and routes them to headphones or a speaker for monitoring. Thanks to this thoughtful split-design setup, the AT-3 is capable of fully independent and flexible audio testing.
