Tama True Touch 5-piece Training Kit

Tama True Touch 5-piece Training Kit

The Tama TTK5S True Touch Training Kit is a revolutionary practice kit that offers the low volume required for practicing at home while allowing drummers to perform the critical technique refinement needed to improve musical expression. By combining quiet acoustic volume, realistic acoustic touch, and sensitive dynamic expression, this kit results in a highly satisfying acoustic drum feeling that conventional practice kits simply cannot match.

Realistic Acoustic Feel and Dynamic Response

To achieve realistic details and a dynamic sound range, the snare, tom, and bass drum pads each feature their own unique design and construction that mirrors the feel of actual acoustic drums. Subtle dynamic response reveals the acoustic information necessary to make the refined mechanical adjustments critical to advancing control, touch, consistency, and overall performance. No other practice pad kit sounds like or feels like the Tama True Touch Training Kit.

Advanced Pad Technologies

• AAD Snare Pad (Accuracy Articulation Dynamics): Incorporates a multi-layered design with a sound source hidden inside that produces an immediate, dynamic snare buzz response. The two-ply mesh top layer can be tuned from low to high, and the raised top hoop allows for rim shots and side-stick techniques.

• Acousti-tone Tom & Floor Tom Pads: Designed with a dual-layer of foam rubber for realistic stick response and a pliable resin shell that acts as an acoustic chamber, emanating a low-volume acoustic drum sound.

• Solid Kick Bass Pad: Constructed with multiple foam material layers for a solid strike with a slight “give.” Air holes on the back disperse air at beater impact, and the wide two-legged stance ensures stability. It accommodates virtually any single or double bass drum pedal.

• Tom Stand: Features specially designed Space Save Tripod Legs that provide a stable base while saving space.
