Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic 4 String Bass Guitar

Get your thumping, heart-pumping bass career started on another note with the Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic 4 String Bass Guitar . With Warwick’s years of experience crafting high-quality, tour-tested, growling basses, the Corvette Basic brings honor to the RockBass family line with these same features in droves. Apart from its stunning design, this alder-body monster boasts some killer tone thanks to its MEC Active J-style bass pickups perched at the neck and bridge. The RockBass Corvette Basic offers some excellent tone-shaping capabilities thanks to balance, bass, and treble knobs.

The Warwick RockBass secret

The RockBass line from Warwick encompasses a selection of stellar basses that can fit a wide range of budgets with incredible playability across all models. Sitting at the first rung of the Corvette line, the RockBass Corvette Basic offers a wealth of bodacious features and all the mighty power to knock your socks off. To accomplish this, an alder body establishes a solid tonal base that delivers tight brightness and resonant field for the pickups to work their magic. You may also notice the 2-piece Warwick bridge that captures and grounds string vibration through the alder body while also offering detailed adjustability.

Next, a silky maple neck capped with a wenge fingerboard facilitates smooth runs and stays dry and fresh gig after gig. This rad tonewood combination especially enthuses players of the 5- and 6-string Corvette Basic models. Lastly, a "C"-shaped neck and 20-inch radius fingerboard feel comfortable in the hand for long practice sessions and gigs — go rock that encore!

Pickups that deliver the goods

No matter what style you play, the RockBass Corvette Basic sings with a balanced tone that allows each note to punch through. The MEC Active J-style pickups deliver superb tone that blows other pickups out of the water. You can further experiment with your Warwick tone, thanks to the RockBass 2-way preamp as well as with balance, bass, and treble knobs. Metal, funk, rock, R&B — you name it, the Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic has a tone for it! Lastly, unique to Warwick, this bass features their quick access electronics compartment that, you guessed it, gives players quick and easy access to tone pots, wires, and battery. How cool is that?

Warwick: quality instruments since 1982

Founded by Hans-Peter Wilfer in 1982, Warwick has become synonymous with basses of high quality and skillful craftsmanship. Warwick has received much praise thanks to their dedication to modern working musicians — constantly innovating and crafting new instruments that satisfy the needs of pro and beginner bassists alike. Coming from a 50-plus-year family tradition of crafting incredible instruments, it’s no wonder Wilfer’s Warwicks steal the show with gripping growls and stunning appearance. What’s more, in 2012 the company impressively went completely carbon-neutral, setting music industry standards worldwide!
