Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood SB Acoustic-electric Guitar - Sunburst

Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood SB Acoustic-electric Guitar - Sunburst

Refreshed with elements from Taylor’s fan-favorite 50th Anniversary lineup, the Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood SB Acoustic-electric Guitar - Sunburst takes Taylor’s time-tested small-bodied workhorse to an entirely new level of elegance and tone. This guitar’s carefully curated layered Indian rosewood and torrefied spruce tonewoods represent a luxury standard of Taylor design, topped with visually appealing chrome hardware and proprietary tuning machines. Additional elite features include a multi-ring rosette, a responsibly sourced Crelicam ebony bridge, and a charmingly old-school firestripe pickguard. When it comes time to take the stage, this guitar’s cutting-edge ES-B 1.2 electronics electrify your signal with the utmost acoustic authenticity. Whether you’re strumming on the couch or rocking stages around the world, the always-comfortable and highly playable Taylor GS Mini-e Rosewood SB is ready to serve as your 6-string standby.

Custom rosewood meets a foundational Mini-e chassis

Taylor opted for layered Indian rosewood when adorning the GS Mini-e Rosewood SB’s back and sides, fortifying the guitar's body style with a resilient tone for immediate, first-class playability. On the instrument's top rests torrefied spruce, rounding out the GS Mini-e's warmer edges with a balanced and high-clarity vocal sheen. Layered over it all is a super-smooth matte finish, amounting to a guitar that's just as comfortable to hold as it is to listen to. If you're a particular fan of Taylor's proprietary acoustic sound, there's no going wrong with the GS Mini-e Rosewood SB.

Classic acoustic comfort and control

Though a shorter size among its contemporaries, the GS Mini-e Rosewood SB surfaces zero sacrifices in proprietary Taylor maneuverability. Its neotropical mahogany neck is carefully shaped to Taylor's standard carve profile, which is comfortable and accessible — especially for players with smaller hands. Additionally, the neck's matte finish, along with a supple ebony fingerboard, guarantees accurate positioning and navigability around all 20 frets.

Plug in anytime

The onboard Taylor ES-B electronics let you plug the Academy GS Mini-e Rosewood SB in at a moment’s notice. Acoustic-electric strummers hail the ES-B system as one of the most natural and warm-sounding acoustic-electric designs on the market because it’s based on elements of Taylor's acclaimed Expression System 2. ES-B’s separate volume and EQ sliders allow you to tweak your sound to perfection, and an onboard tuner ensures pitch-perfect performances every time.
