Sitting perfectly between the compact Baby Taylor and a full-size dreadnought, the Taylor Big Baby Taylor BBTe<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> is a 15/16th-size guitar that students, travelers, and seasoned pros come back to year after year. The Big Baby Taylor acoustic-electric is exceptionally portable and comfortable, but with such a slight size difference from a standard dreadnought that it still packs formidable acoustic volume, bass response, and power. Tone is classic and pure thanks to a solid Sitka spruce top, layered walnut back and sides, and a slightly slimmed dreadnought body shape. Plus, the Big Baby packs a custom-tuned onboard ES-B electronics system for easy plugging in, performing, and recording. Whether you’re a beginner looking for an ultra-approachable Taylor or a pro in need of a dependable couch or travel companion, guitarists can’t say enough good things about the Big Baby Taylor.<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Premium solid wood top<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Premium tone requires excellent tonewood placement, which is why the Big Baby Taylor features a solid Sitka spruce top. This high-quality tonewood acts as the acoustic engine of the guitar, allowing notes to ring true with remarkable balance, broad dynamic response, and rich sustain. The Big Baby Taylor also features a sturdy hard rock maple neck, a sustainably sourced West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard, and layered walnut back and sides that focus your acoustic voice with bold midrange definition and excellent structural durability.<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Compact feel, expansive sound<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Coming in at 15/16 the size of a standard dreadnought, the Big Baby Taylor is just small and shallow enough to feel uniquely comfortable, yet it projects an acoustic footprint that sounds nearly identical to a full-sized guitar. Its slim, highly accessible neck profile makes the Big Baby the perfect alternative for beginners, smaller-handed players, or singer-songwriters who find standard dreadnoughts too bulky but find tiny travel guitars a bit too cramped for their playing needs.<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Simplified plug-and-play electronics<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

The onboard Taylor ES-B electronics let you plug your Big Baby Taylor into an amplifier, PA system, or recording interface at a moment’s notice. The ES-B system is one of the most transparent-sounding acoustic-electric designs in its class because it’s based directly on design elements of Taylor’s acclaimed Expression System 2 behind-the-saddle pickup. Simple, intuitive onboard volume and tone control dials allow you to quickly tweak your sound to perfection without cluttered multi-band EQ sliders, while the built-in digital chromatic tuner ensures pitch-perfect performances every time.<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->
