A name known worldwide

In 1924 violin maker Franz Sandner founded his company in Schönbach. With the patiently acquired skills and natural love of craftsmanship, precision and artistic perfection Franz Sandner was able to establish its position on the world market quite quickly. After the Second World War the company moved to Nauheim.

In 1958 Franz Sandners daughter Sonja and her husband Richard Schuh joined the company and established the foundation to enter the worldwide export market. In 1979 their son Dietmar Schuh – the third generation – took over Franz Sandner Co. and achieved continuous and sustainable development. Since 1992 Soraya Schuh has supported her husband. Today, Franz Sandner Co. sells instruments in 60 countries worldwide.

To strengthen global competitiveness, Franz Sandner Co. established a joint-venture with the renowned Taiwanese instrument manufacturer Dynasty Co. Ltd. in 2003. Franz Sandner Co. continues to produce in Germany, but in-

struments are also being manufactured in China under

the name Sandner Dynasty.

The CV-6 ‘Concert’ violin is comfortable to use, with high quality setup and a wonderful tone. A beautiful instrument that uses quality timbers, offers a level of uniqueness which adds to the look of this lovely instrument.

Ideal for Intermediate to Advanced Violinists

An outstanding violin, setup and ready to play ‘straight out of the box’. Professionally checked and prepared by one of our in-house luthiers, it has Dominant strings, contributing to its excellent tone and playability.

Ideal for violinists who want their violin to look as great as it plays and sounds, the Sandner CV 6 is in a classic, German style design with a spirit-varnished finish. It features a carved selected, Spruce top with a gorgeous ‘flamed’ Maple back & ribs, giving every instrument a level of uniqueness; a wonderful feature for the discerning owner! When paired with its Ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs, it really is a beautiful instrument to own.

To ensure the best possible sound, and enhance the lifetime of the violin, the woods used are aged and dried for a minimum of 4-5 years. (CV4 3 years)
