This pedal features a TransTube re-creation of the Ultra's channel circuit, a 3-band EQ comprised of Bottom, Body, and Edge frequency knobs, and a combination of Pre- and Post-gain knobs — a pairing that guitarists find provide them with a surgical level of tonal precision. In addition, Peavey outfitted the reimagined Bandit Supreme with a mid-shift switch, a feature that boosts mids for a more full-bodied tone or scoops them for patented '80s thrash sound, and a Gain boost switch for adding that extra lift to your leads.
