NS Design NXTa 4-string Electric Violin – Sunburst

NS Design NXTa 4-string Electric Violin – Sunburst

Experience a wondrous combination of elegance, playability, and tone with the NS Design NXTa 4-string Electric Violin – Sunburst. An authentic 13″ scale length ensures that this electric violin feels comfortable and familiar. The NXTa Violin’s dual-mode output switches effortlessly between a capacitor-powered active circuit and a passive circuit with high-impedance output. And since your sound comes from the pickup, you can employ loopers and other effects onstage without acoustic leakage spoiling your sound. This instrument is incredibly ergonomic, thanks to a hand-graduated ebony fingerboard, contoured ebony chin rest, and custom shoulder rest. Take your playing to new worlds with the NS Design NXTa violin!

Custom-designed electronics deliver the sounds you need

The NS Design NXTa Violin sports a custom Polar Pickup System. A pizz/arco switch optimizes the pickup’s response for plucked or bowed playing. It gives you the control, clarity, and richness you want from a bass, no matter your playing style. Shift effortlessly from a capacitor-powered active circuit to a passive circuit with high-impedance output, by virtue of the NXTa’s dual-mode output. Connect the NXTa to any AC outlet for 60 seconds, and its active circuit will stay powered for up to 16 hours of performance time – no external battery is required!

The latest Steinberger masterpiece

Ned Steinberger breathed new vision and life into stringed instruments when he introduced the L2 bass at Summer NAMM in 1979. Innovatively designed without headstocks, the L2s astonished the music world, and prototypes were quickly sold to such esteemed players as John Entwistle of The Who, Tony Levin of King Crimson, and Andy West of Dixie Dregs. Since then, Steinberger basses and guitars have continued to impress musicians – and engineers! – the world over. Their cutting-edge Headless Tuning systems make way for stability never thought possible, while their Radius body shape, Fusion necks, and EMG humbucking pickup systems allow for an extensive range of tonal possibilities.
