Novation FLkey 2 Mini 25 MIDI Keyboard Controller for FL Studio

Novation FLkey 2 Mini 25 MIDI Keyboard Controller for FL Studio

The Novation FLkey 2 Mini 25 is a compact keyboard controller for FL Studio producers who want portable hands-on control without sacrificing creative features. With 25 synth-action mini-keys, 16 RGB pads and dedicated controls for core FL Studio functions, it helps you sketch melodies, program drums and shape sounds quickly from a smaller setup.

Direct integration with FL Studio gives you immediate access to the Channel Rack, Mixer and plugins, helping you stay focused on making music instead of navigating menus. The compact design makes it easy to fit into smaller studios or portable production setups, while built-in creative tools help ideas come together faster.Scale mode keeps notes in key, chord functions simplify progressions and the arpeggiator adds movement to patterns and melodies. Polyphonic aftertouch pads support more expressive finger drumming, while the OLED display keeps key information clearly visible as you work.

Designed for direct FL Studio workflow

FLkey Mini 25 is built specifically for FL Studio, giving you direct access to the software features used most during production. You can trigger sounds in the Channel Rack, sequence patterns and control mixer settings directly from the hardware. This helps reduce interruptions during sessions, keeping your attention on building tracks instead of switching constantly between keyboard and mouse.

Controls are mapped automatically, so there is very little setup involved before you begin producing. The controller also supports hands-on plugin control, making it easier to shape sounds and adjust effects while ideas are still flowing.

Compact layout with practical playability

The 25 synth-action mini-keys are designed to keep the controller portable while still feeling responsive during everyday use. The smaller size works well in compact studio spaces and mobile setups, giving you enough room for melodies, basslines and chord progressions without taking over your desk.

Pitch and modulation touch strips add expressive control for shaping sounds during recording or performance. Even with its smaller footprint, FLkey Mini 25 still feels focused on creativity and workflow rather than simply saving space. It is a practical option for producers who want portability without losing direct access to important controls.

Creative features that speed up idea building

FLkey Mini 25 includes built-in tools designed to help ideas develop quickly. Scale mode keeps notes within your selected key, making experimentation feel more natural and reducing the chance of unwanted notes. Fixed Chord mode lets you trigger full chords from a single key, while Chord Maps allow you to build progressions directly from the pads.

The arpeggiator creates rhythmic movement and evolving sequences from simple inputs, helping smaller ideas grow into more complete musical sections. These features are useful when sketching tracks quickly because they support creativity without slowing down your workflow with constant editing.

Responsive pads for beats and performance

The 16 RGB pads provide flexible control for drum programming, sequencing and live performance. You can trigger samples, create patterns or finger drum directly from the controller depending on how you like to work.

Velocity sensitivity gives your performances more dynamic range, while polyphonic aftertouch adds greater expression and detail to each pad press. This is especially useful with FL Studio tools like FPC, SliceX and Fruity Slicer, where subtle changes in dynamics can affect the overall groove of a track. The RGB lighting also provides clear visual feedback, helping you stay organised during longer sessions.

Flexible connections and huge software bundle

Eight endless encoders give you direct access to important parameters including levels, filters and effects. Since controls are automatically mapped inside FL Studio, you can begin adjusting sounds immediately without assigning controls manually.

The OLED display provides clear visual feedback while you work, helping you keep track of settings and adjustments during mixing sessions. FLkey Mini 25 also includes a mini-jack MIDI output for connecting external synths and MIDI hardware, expanding your setup beyond software instruments alone. Alongside the hardware, you also get FL Studio Producer Edition, Melodics lessons and a collection of additional instruments and effects to help you start creating straight away.
