The D-15M Street Master features a dreadnought body shape which can handle many different genres and styles of play, and provides a comfortable playing experience. The sitka spruce X-brace pattern keeps the guitar’s body from collapsing under string tension, and reinforces the structure to provide a durable and strong construction. The aptly named Street Master is ideal for busking performers due to its enormous voice and beautiful distressed satin finish, providing unique eye-catching appearance and quality tone and construction.

Dreadnought Body Shape

The Martin Street Master features a dreadnought body shape, which provides an enormous voice, and maintains overall tonal balance. The dreadnought shape was originally designed for hard pick attack. However through years of superb craftsmanship, Martin have created a stunningly toned, well-balanced dreadnought voice that can handle many genres and styles of play with equal ease. The big body is ideal for players with a longer reach, and those more comfortable with the dreadnought size. All-Mahogany Body

The D-15M Street Master features an all-mahogany body, which offers durability and delivers incredibly rich distinct warmth. Mahogany also contains distinct character of soft warmth, but is well balanced with a bite of its own. The Street Master produces a focused, punchy mid-range, thick well-defined tone, and sings sweet sparkling highs with plenty of characterised warmth. Mahogany is used a lot in the acoustic world, because it is relatively economical, durable, attractive, easy to work with, and resonant. As a top wood, the mahogany offers a natural compression, creating strong fundamentals with a clear and direct focus. Used as back and sides panels, the tonewood provides a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, ‘woody’ tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.
