Jupiter JBC1000N Intermediate Bb Bass Clarinet with Nickel-plated Keys

Spectacular Intermediate Bass Clarinet with Portable 2-piece Design

Jupiter woodwinds are built with beginning and advancing student musicians in mind, as evidenced by the spectacular Jupiter JBC1000N Bb bass clarinet. Featuring a highly durable 2-piece ABS resin body, the JBC1000N is simple to maintain and resistant to daily wear and tear, in addition to breaking down for easy transport in the included compact wood-frame case. A nickel silver neck and bell are visually stunning and contribute to the JBC1000N’s sonorous tone; meanwhile, a nickel-plated key mechanism with leather pads, inline trills keys, and undercut toneholes promotes fluid playing and guarantees accurate intonation across the full range of the instrument. To get you started, the JBC1000N also includes a mouthpiece ligature and cap and an adjustable floor peg.

Made from ABS resin for enhanced durability

An important aspect to consider when purchasing a student clarinet is durability. After all, it has to survive the bumps and bruises it will surely encounter as it travels with your young musician from school and back. Plus, if it’s used for outdoor performances, you’ll want to make sure it can withstand the occasional run-in with inclement weather. For those reasons, Jupiter constructed the JBC1000N from robust matte ABS resin. Unlike wood, ABS resin is impervious to damage associated with fluctuating temperatures and humidity changes, while also being resilient against normal wear and tear. Yet, ABS resin has a look and sound reminiscent of wood, with a full-bodied tone and a pleasing top end. Plus, the 2-piece body design and high-quality case make the JBC1000N easy to transport to and from rehearsals and performances.

Jupiter: guaranteed through graduation

A staple in classrooms everywhere, Jupiter band instruments are beloved by music teachers for good reason. Since 1980, the company has built high-quality band instruments for students of every development level. Innovations such as the Waveline flute headjoint and the patented Ergonomic trombone are just two examples of the company’s player-centered design philosophy. Each Jupiter instrument is inspected for quality throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring that it can endure bumps and bruises as easily as it can navigate technical passages. With Jupiter’s player-first focus, anyone is welcome to embark upon an exciting and fulfilling musical journey through high school graduation and beyond.
