Guitarists are thrilled with Fender’s decision to introduce rolled edges to each axe’s fingerboards, augmenting both comfort and accessibility. What’s more, Fender dove deep into the archives to resurrect iconic finishes — some of which have never been seen in the series! Between eye-catching aesthetics and a 2-point synchronized tremolo, the Fender Player II Stratocaster is your key to unparalleled expression and next-level playability.

Time-tested foundations

Fender’s origins are synonymous with the electric guitar revolution, and the Player II Stratocaster is imbued with the same foundational DNA. Its chambered ash body anchors your tone in sonorous sustain and powerful fundamentals, with full-spectrum heft that doesn’t sacrifice articulation for presence. Maple adorns the neck and fingerboard, adding warmth and brightness in every register, with excellent voicing that ensures everything is crisp, powerful, and never harsh, from complex chords to roaring leads.

Contemporary tone-sculpting tools

To bring these sonic foundations to life, Fender meticulously crafted the Player series pickups to marry classic Fender style with contemporary tone-building necessities. This Player II Stratocaster deploys an SSS configuration. Player series Strat single-coil pickups utilize Alnico V magnets, expanding this guitar’s robust aural profile with glass-like transparency, percussive chime, and powerful voicing throughout the spectrum. With the aid of a 5-way blade switch, dual tone controls, and a master volume knob, untold worlds of latent sonic potential are waiting to be unearthed.

Maximum expressive possibilities

Aptly enough, it’s the playability of the Player II Stratocaster that elevates it to the echelon of modern, dynamic performance. The maple neck features a Modern “C” profile and satin finish, optimized for speed and comfort. It’s complemented by a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, blending versatile accessibility and robust in-hand feel to extract every ounce of sonic possibility from its 22-fret array. Adding to the comfort of the fingerboard’s rolled edge, Fender’s bookended the Player II Stratocaster’s 25.5-inch scale with ClassicGear tuning machines and a 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles. With rock-solid tuning and reliable buzz-free sound, the Player II Stratocaster expands your sonic palette for maximum expressivity, from subtle vibrato to roaring, evocative dives.
