Unlike a standard cymbal stand, the 5500 hi-hat stand features a uni-body folding footboard. This patented design keeps the footboard attached to the base casting when folded up.

The lateral cymbal seat feature is a first for hi-hat stand design. This adjustable cymbal seat allows you to adjust the bottom cymbal angle to achieve your desired sound & feel. With swivel legs for easy positioning and a host of other features, the DW 5000 cymbal stand is a solid long-term choice for the travelling drummer.

A first for hi-hat stands, DW have implemented a lateral cymbal seat which lets you adjust the angle of the bottom cymbal. This is a small detail, but it makes every difference to your playing.

For further playability and sensitive response, the bearing link connector reduces friction and increases sensitivity between the footboard chain and pull rod.

For maximum flexibility, the DW 5000 Series Hi-Hat Stand features Swivel Legs for easy positioning of bass drum pedals and other stands around the hi-hat stand. The upper rods come standard in two lengths (21” and 15”), so you can customise the stand to your specific needs.

To ensure your cymbals stay securely in place, just where you want, DW included the SM379 locking clutch. This allows you to keep washiness to a minimum and lock your hi-hats tight. Once you have your hi-hat setup, you want to keep those preferences for next time. The hinged memory locks do just that. Included at tube joints, these memory locks guarantee 100% repeatable and precise height settings.
