How to choose

Pick a body shape based on how loud and bass-heavy you want the guitar to sound.

Beginner

A newer player can start with a standard Dreadnought like the GD11 MNS, a shape that suits strumming and general practice. Keep fresh strings on hand since steel strings need replacing more often than nylon.

Intermediate

A player wanting more volume and low end can try the Jumbo bodied GJ72CE-NAT, while the GY11ME offers a different tonal option for smaller hands or different playing styles. Get familiar with the onboard EQ before your first amplified gig.

Expert

An experienced player can compare premium tonewood options such as the GN77KCENAT Hawaiian Koa against standard models to find a distinct voice for recording or performance. Maintain stable humidity for the top and have the guitar's setup checked periodically to preserve tone and playability.
