Triple Sensor Keybed and New Panel Design

Continuing their iconic flagship series, Nord has enhanced nearly every facet of the Stage 4. Featuring a high-end 88-key Triple Sensor Hammer Action keybed with aftertouch, it provides the ultimate playing experience that rivals classic grand piano designs. The new and improved panel design features dedicated LED faders for each Layer, providing unprecedented flexibility for your performances. From sound design to performing live, the intuitive control panel puts everything you need at your fingertips.

Three Powerful Sound Engines

The Nord Stage 4 is built around three independent sound engines: Piano, Synth, and Organ. The revamped Preset Library is jam-packed with premium-quality simulations of every piano and organ type. The Piano section features 2 GB of memory, 120-voice polyphony, and new features such as Unison and Dynamic Compression. The Synth section utilizes the Nord Wave 2 engine with 1 GB of sample memory, three independent layers, and an advanced arpeggiator. Completing the trifecta, the Organ section features Nord’s award-winning simulations, including the C2D B3 Tonewheel, complete with physical drawbars and LED indicators.

Expanded and Revamped Effects Section

Take your sound design capabilities to the next level with the new and improved Effect section, providing a dedicated effect section per Layer for advanced sound shaping. The Stage 4 features brand-new effects, including the ‘Pump’ effect for tempo-synced side-chain modulation. New variations for Modulation, Amp, Delay, and Reverb effects are included, as well as three new reverb algorithms: Spring, Booth, and Cathedral. Two new delay styles, Flam and Space, further expand your sonic palette.

Advanced Live Performance Controls

Designed for the stage, the Nord Stage 4 includes subtle function upgrades that make it easier for live musicians to quickly achieve their favorite sounds. Two digital OLED screens provide focus and clarity in all lighting situations. The Song List feature allows you to create, store, and recall specific settings instantly. A Seamless Transition function ensures the smoothest and most subtle switch between your programs and sounds. Up to 3 Split Points (4 Keyboard Zones) with visual LED indication give you ultimate control over your performance layout.
