BERP Trumpet
Description
The BERP Trumpet is a practical brass practice and embouchure training tool designed to help trumpet players develop better breath support, pitch awareness and coordination.
The BERP attaches to the trumpet’s receiver, allowing you to buzz your mouthpiece while holding the trumpet in its normal playing position. This makes it possible to practise mouthpiece buzzing while also operating the trumpet valves, helping to strengthen the connection between the sound you hear, your embouchure and your valve technique.
The adjustable resistance allows the player to control the amount of resistance while buzzing. This makes the BERP useful for focused practice on airflow, embouchure control, pitch centring and sound production.
Because the BERP remains attached to the instrument, players can quickly switch between mouthpiece buzzing and normal playing, making it easy to incorporate into everyday practice.
