The Ibanez RGA42 Electric Guitar features a Jatoba Fretboard – Jatoba has a brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

The guitar also features a F106 bridge. The bridge enriches sustain and then string height adjustment can be done independently.

Ibanez’s thin, flat and fast Wizard III neck is strong and offers unlimited playability. The guitar features a two-octave 24-fret fretboard for a wide tonal range.

The Ibanez RGA42 Electric Guitar features Quantum H-H pickups are installed onboard, and in addition, the Quantum pickups provide accelerated bass response for high-speed staccato riffing. The Ibanez RGA42EX – Coming from unconventional origins

The Ibanez story begins in Nagoya, Japan’s fourth most populous city and one of its key trade ports.

Also based in Nagoya was Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain that – due to the demand for Western instruments in the late 19th and early 20th century – established a musical instrument division. Hoshino Gakki began to import high-end classical guitars to the country.

From the late 1920s onwards, Hoshino Gakki imported instruments crafted by a legendary Spanish master luthier by the name of Salvador Ibanez.

Now, Hoshino Gakki wasn’t the only company to import Ibanez’s instruments – several others did, most notably Yamaha – but in the 1930s Hoshino Gakki did something that would bind the two names together forever more.

Ibanez is a big player in the current Guitar market, producing amazing entry level instruments all the way to full professional signature models.
