The Harrison Audio D510r 500 Series chassis houses up to 10 single-width modules — so far, so good, right? However, this innovative 500 Series rack also sports a trio of distinct features that distinguish it from the competition. First, its novel internal power supply design is rated for 170mA per slot, which is over 30% higher than the standard 130mA per slot specification set by the VPR Alliance. The beefy PSU rating is significant, as it allows the D510r to adequately power even the most current-hungry modules. Secondly, a specialized slot accommodates the optional D510 Dante interface card, which provides direct interfacing with a Dante AoIP network. Finally, we come to Harrison’s D510mx 10-in, 2-out analog mixer module, which lets you create a stereo mix from up to eight 500 Series modules installed in the D510r. With both of these options installed, your D510r chassis becomes a powerful computer interface that uses your favorite 500 Series modules as input sources!
